For the launch of the lotion Melissa + Erika we were invited to use the space of the Gallery Melissa to develop an environment that would invite those present to try the product in a fun way.

With the possibility of using floor and walls to design we created an experience that tracked the position of the guests to generate a path to the samples of the product.

We used a proprietary software made in OpenFrameworks to track people and a second application in Processing provided the graphical elements that also reacted to the music environment.

This interactive projection uses 5 projectors to merge floor and walls in an experience to bring users to try the product on the booth. Open to visitors in Galeria Melissa - São Paulo

Upon entering the room the projection screen will display a cloud of colored elements, which will follow the position of each user while forming paths that lead to the perfume, stimulating the interest in experimenting

Through projection and interactivity build a space in which store visitors can feel, through images and sound, the atmosphere of perfume.
We will develop a space for contemplation, being it cheerful and playful, in order to generate greater interest on the perfume.

Interaction

There will be three interactions:

  1. take the audience to the perfume (user / projection)
  2. public try the perfume (user / project)
  3. public exchanges opinions (user / user)

In the center of the hall will be a totem with samples of the perfume. while there is no one in the room, the images projected on the wall will be the color of the perfume (purple). after the entrance of a person, part of the images will change color starting to interact with the movements of the spectator. A path to the perfume will be formed on the screen inducing the audience to experience the new perfume. After the person has tried the perfume, images on the floor will be projected connecting people who have already tried the perfume with each other (connects dots), inducing an exchange of opinions and one to one interaction.
